Every prodcut i put in my hair hardens after a half hour, why does it keep happening?

I've tried ever product from either the loreal or garneir fructis line, and nothing works. am i using too much? is my hair too thick? i cant figure it out. i have short, thick, wavy hair and i just want something to put in it to keep the frizz down, but everything i put in it hardens it. i need help fast

maybe try putting less in, i think mousse, hairsprays and gels make your hair hard, so i like frizz serums, they work just as well as gels but they make your hair soft, and you hardly need any at all! i have really long hair and 2 pumps is just right for me. try john freida or Hask frizz serum, you can get it at wal mart. (i think this is the millionth time ive pushed the serums, but they are my all-purpose product)

It's because when the prouct dries it becomes heard.. i sugest using herbal essences slick and straight or none of your frizzness.

none of your frizzness manages frizz by slikcing it down, it worked for me...

You need to stay away from gels and mousses, try a serum or some sort of pomade or wax. Good products of this sort are Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum to keep down frizz, or Joico Brilliantine for hold and shine. For a strong hold try TiGi Bedhead Manipulator.

this is common on the ceaper hair products if you by more expencive brands they will tend to work better

All of those products are made with Viagra, which explains why your hair is getting hard.

Try household butter - it sets your hair nicely and stays supple.
