Need Hairdye help -- Hair was dark brown, is now a medium brown?

I used Loreal Excellence Creme Blonde Supreme hairdye on my hair and it didnt give me the results I wanted. It made my roots light, but the rest of my hair is still dark.

I bought some Loreal Perfect Blondissima creme (bleach) and I was going to use that first and than the blonde supreme, but I read the directions and it said that I shouldnt use both.

I have another blonde supreme hairdye and I still have the bleach. What should I do?

Should I use the blonde supreme again and see if it will lighten my hair a second time around?

Can I use the bleach, wait a day and than use the blonde supreme?

Im assuming that it says I cant use both because they both have bleach in them.

Any suggestions, thoughts?

Thanks.

Need Hairdye help -- Hair was dark brown, is now a medium brown?

I think you should use the bleach to get the result you want and leave it a day or two and then use the blonde supreme, and I don't think anything will happen if you do that.

Just don't use both on the same day, or worse, mix them because you could end up with frazzled hair which is never a good look :P

good luck :)

Need Hairdye help -- Hair was dark brown, is now a medium brown?

Wait a few days--it will fry your hair if you don't.

I wouldnt use what you used this time again--use the other, but give it at least 48 hours.

Need Hairdye help -- Hair was dark brown, is now a medium brown?

I have super drak brown hair and had MANY MANY bad experiences with hair dye. Please call their helpline or go to a professional. You can really screw up your hair using home hair dye kits!!

Need Hairdye help -- Hair was dark brown, is now a medium brown?

There should be an 800 or 888 toll free number or a web site on the packages. Call them I did when I Had a problem similar and they were able to answer my question. Mine had to do with a medical problem I was being treated for so be aware that some medications will affect your hair, color texture, and the way chemicals (dyes) will take, or not take in my case.

Good shampoo and conditioner??

The herbal essence fruity line is good. Also, tresseme may help. Try buying a shampoo for oily hair. If your willing to pay a little more, Clinique's hair care line is really good.

Good shampoo and conditioner??

Neutrogena's Clean is good for oily hir but it's kinda hard to find.

Good shampoo and conditioner??

Good shampoo and conditioner??

pantene is awesome. Find one for oily hair and it should solve the problem

Good shampoo and conditioner??

You could always just apply the conditioner mid-shaft to end. That part of your hair is the driest anyway.

HELP...i colored my hair and it turned out way too dark..any suggestions?

i colored my hair and it is nearly black now...way to dark for me. i was aiming for a more auburn dark brown color. i used loreal paris essentials color dark brown and it just didn't turn out right. i'm thinking about coloring it again to make it lighter. is this a bad idea? please let me know. or does anyone have any suggestions of products i could possibly use?

HELP...i colored my hair and it turned out way too dark..any suggestions?

It probably wont be that dark after you wash it a few more times. Just give it a couple of days and if you aren't happy redye it. Just make sue to deep condition it at least twice a week for about a month. That's a lot of chemicals on your hair in a short time.

HELP...i colored my hair and it turned out way too dark..any suggestions?

cant u redie it

HELP...i colored my hair and it turned out way too dark..any suggestions?

Wait after a couple of washes.. your hair will lighten up a little .. if its not the way you want it then wait a month to dye it so it wont damage your hair.. and be sure to do treatments.

HELP...i colored my hair and it turned out way too dark..any suggestions?

first, wash it with a harsh shampoo, and see if that takes any colour out. my colour always looks too dark the first few days, but washing seems to help. If not, You can indeed redye it. what do you think those home streaking kits are? Or, you could just put in a few streaks to make it appear lighter around your face

HELP...i colored my hair and it turned out way too dark..any suggestions?

Give it up to 3 ,more weeks befor you think about re-colouring it. Permanant hair dyes fade rapidly within the first month. Re-colouring it to soon can cause major damage to your hair and make it split or fall out!

HELP...i colored my hair and it turned out way too dark..any suggestions?

try Wella shampoo it seems to help in lifting color, but black is hard to change in less your hair is dark. also their should be a phone number on the box u can call for support maybe they have some other suggestions Good Luck

HELP...i colored my hair and it turned out way too dark..any suggestions?

I don't suggest redying your hair, because the harsh chemicals in hair dye is very harmful for the sensitive skin on your scalp. Not to mention that over a long period time, visible hair loss will be evident.

Unless you REALLY dislike dark hair, I suggest wearing light-colored clothes. Dark hair is set off really well by light-colored clothes, it emphasizes confidence and dramatic beauty whereas a lighter color would give you a more peaches-and-cream look. It depends on your perspective.

If you're still against the idea, I really suggest getting a professional job at a beauty salon. They know how to use the dying chemicals there so as not to harm the skin because obviously, you yourself cannot see the top of your head.

This is not mentioning the fact that dying your hair really decreases the quality of hair. Split ends will begin their rise, and so will an increased frizziness. Or a scissor bifurcation quality will occur where if you run two fingers on a particular strand of hair, it feels like a sliver of sandpaper.

Hope this helps, if it doesn't change your mind on your outlook.

HELP...i colored my hair and it turned out way too dark..any suggestions?

I colored my hair green accidently once . I went to my hair dresser and she told where to go and what type of dye to buy. If you don't have one then my suggestion is to go to a place called Sally's. They may tell you to wait till you have washed your hair a couple of times to see what your hair color will actually be I don't know if you have one but they sell salon products. They use to only sell to hair dressers now they sell to the public. Try talking to a sales person to get advice on their products. If you feel that they aren't knowledgeable enough talk to the manager. He/She should be able to tell you what products they have that you can use to fix your problem. Good Luck!

HELP...i colored my hair and it turned out way too dark..any suggestions?

I wouldn't take any chances-I'd go to a professional. Also, when I got my hair cut recently, the stylist told me that Loreal dye was very bad for your hair and caused a lot of damage. She said use any brand but Loreal.

HELP...i colored my hair and it turned out way too dark..any suggestions?

If I were you, I would wait at least two months before I dye it again. By that time, you would have washed and conditioned your hair enough to restrengthen it. Chemical processes such as dyes and perms make the scalp and hair extremely sensitive for a while. And if you dye again too soon, you will be over-processing your hair which leads to damage %26amp; breakage. If I were you, I would also get my next dye done by a professional because they have been trained in all areas of hair and they have expert knowledge on how to do every little thing correctly and know what to or not to do. I know you want to save money, but you could always have a professional dye it, but not style it so you'll spend less money.

HELP...i colored my hair and it turned out way too dark..any suggestions?

before you recolor, try wetting your hair and putting castor oil and cover w/plastic bag for about 30 min. Depending on how porus your hair is, when you wash it out, it will remove some of the color.

If you do decide to color it, make sure and use a much lighter color than you wanted so that the dark will lighten enough.

HELP...i colored my hair and it turned out way too dark..any suggestions?

If you are going to use another product, you should wait atleast four to six weeks...otherwise you WILL damage your hair. You can use a dye removal product to be found at Wal-Mart or any local retailer. This is the best way to lighten it up, but it really won't be easy. You have darkened your hair quite a bit from its original color and to lighten it up, you are definitly going to damage it a bit more. I hope this helps!

Damaged hair - advice please?

I have blonde hair on top, brown underneath. It is shoulder length at the most and very thin.

I used to have a condition called Trichotillomania where I would tug on my hair in handfulls into it broke. So as you can imagine my hair is very very broken and uneven.

I had my hair trimmed a week ago, and I was looking at the ends today and about 2cm up the shaft from the ends all the strands were broken. This seems to be the case no matter how many times I have my hair trimmed.

I have tried deep conditioning treatments but they don't seem to help at all. I have cut down my straightening so I only straighten 2 times a week, I have a GHD and use straightening spray that helps prevent damage. I also use loreal shampoo and conditioner and loreal silver shampoo.

I currently have glue in hair extensions, I am getting them taken out in a few months because they are damaging my hair. Will clipin ones look ok in my thin hair? Any advice?

Damaged hair - advice please?

Firstly- it sounds to me like your natural hair colour is Brown so don't dye your hair blonde...Ever!

Start fresh cut your hair into a neat bob it will grow back thick and lovely.

Don't Straighten your hair excessively. try let its dry naturally.

Take out your Hair extentions they will make your hair worse. the glue damages your hair and don't use clipin ones either your hair may break.

All these over priced hair products actually do nothing special for your hair so there is no point in buying them.

Your hair is propbably also like this beacuse you have a poor diet try and eat lots of fruit and veg and drink plenty of water.

Your hair will grow back nice and thick if you follow all these steps. Good Luck.

Damaged hair - advice please?

Hmm... You shouldn't really worry too much about your hair. I suggest that you don't use conditioner on your scalp--just use it on the parts between your roots and your ends. Also, remember to shampoo thoroughly. Oh, and one more thing--try not to get your hair straightened/permed etc. too much, as they will damage your hair.

Damaged hair - advice please?

look...your hair is damaged b/c of what you are doing to it...coloring and glueing stuff in it...keep on deep conditoning and stop dying it and putting in weaves...just do a style where your hair can be by itself without a lot of product for a couple months...

I forget the brand?

i member a few years ago in magazines and probably the tv too they had advertisments for on permanent hair dye i think it was loreal, and it was more targeted to teenagers..the advertisement had a teenage girl with a different hair color and to the side it had all the color dyes available and i think the background was like red/orange...does anyone know if this product is still available and what the product/ brand is!! thank you

I forget the brand?

idk srry!!

What are some fast ways to wash out loreal color pulse?

ok so i dyed my lightish brown hair lively auburn on sunday and i washed my hair yesterday and i dont like it and so i washed it like 8 times today. my hairs still red while its supposed to come out in 8-10 washes. Any products like shampoos and other methods to get the dye out really fast??? and i will not use color strip, wait for it to just grow out, or go and re-dye it my natural color

thanx : ]

What are some fast ways to wash out loreal color pulse?

try a "clarifying" shampoo....the neutrogena one strips alot of "stuff" out of hair...just be careful,,,if youve washed it as much as you say in one day, you can totaly dry it out, its going to be extra porous and soak up alot more color the next time you dye it

What are some fast ways to wash out loreal color pulse?

Tide Powder Detergent. Mix some up in a bowl or glass and take into the shower, wet your hair, wash with regular shampoo, after you rinse, apply the detergent, get out and watch it, don't leave it on there too long, it should do the trick, other than that, since you chose a red shade you may need to cover it up, with something close to your natural shade or even darker.. then you will have to give yourself a good conditioning treatment.. Good Luck.

I want to change my coloured hair from light blonde to medium blonde.?

I have been dyeing my hair a light blonde for a while. I now want to change it to a medium blonde. I have been using an over the counter box colour by Loreal Preference but would like to use a professional hair colour like Koleston perfect this time as I thought it would help improve the condition of my hair. Im just not exactly sure how I should apply a professional hair colour over a colour that I bought over the counter. Should I mix the colour with a 20 vol developer or do I need to use a stronger vol developer? My hair is naturally a medium blonde. As I will have roots should I apply a medium blonde shade to the roots first and then distribute the colour through the rest of the hair for the last few mins (touch up application) or because it is a darker shade and a different brand should I apply the colour to all the hair at the beginning? (as you would with a first time application) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I want to change my coloured hair from light blonde to medium blonde.?

I think my question here is how did you get your hands on a professional color if you're not a licensed hairdresser??

In either case, I would strongly recommend going to a professional for this and here's the main reason. The boxed color that you have been using contains salts and minerals in it that are now coating your hair. If you try putting a professional product on top of that your hair will likely come out a different shade than what you want it to. In order to get this process done properly you will need to remove everything that the boxed haircolor has put on your hair before you can even think about recoloring it. And the process is not an easy one, for if done incorrectly can severly damage your hair.

As for the case in which you choose to still try and do this on your own, a 10 vol. developer is the strongest that you should use since you're going darker and if you're trying to match the rest of your hair to the roots you shouldn't even touch the roots and let them be. If the color is going to be somewhat different then you should apply the color to the middle of the hair first, then the roots, and then the ends. The roots always process faster because of the body heat. The ends process fast as well because they've gone through the most damage in the past. But I do hope that you choose to go to a salon to get this done properly. Good luck

I want to change my coloured hair from light blonde to medium blonde.?

ur description is too long, so im gonna write good for u

I want to change my coloured hair from light blonde to medium blonde.?

I think the first thing to do, a few days before you do the color, is do a reconditioning treatment to your hair. This will help put protein back in it and make it healthier. As far as developer, if you are going back to your natural shade, you could even use 10 volume, since 10 justs deposits color and doesn't lift. If you need to lift even a little, you can use 20 volume, but I wouldn't go any higher. As far as application, I would do the roots first, since the other has been previously processed and then pull through the rest of the strand during the last 10 minutes. Hope this helps, and good luck!

Can i use loreal color pulse beach blonde?

i have darkish brown hair, so what is wrong with using beach blonde?

Can i use loreal color pulse beach blonde?

That stuff won't show up at *all* in dark hair. Because that line of color doesn't have anything in it to actually bleach out the natural pigment in your hair, you can only use it to go darker. If you want to go blonde from naturally dark hair, you have to have it lightened with something that's got peroxide in it. (And I strongly recomend having it done professionally. I've seen one too many of my dark-haired friends try to lighten her hair on her own and have it turn bright orange).

Can i use loreal color pulse beach blonde?

if ur a brunette and u go blonde it may not come out the way u want it. it will mot likely be darker than what u want. every time i dye my hair and i go alot lighter i bleach it first

Can i use loreal color pulse beach blonde?

.. nothing's really 'wrong' with it, it just won't be too noticeable. you can use it, but it probably won't show up like you're planning.

Can i use loreal color pulse beach blonde?

it doesnt lighten hair so if u want blonde u will have to use permident

in other words it wont work

Does anyone know the customer services number for Loreal for colouring advice?

I need advice on their Castings Creme Gloss and which colour to use. I tried the light brown and even that was too dark for my hair, even though my hair I would say is a mid brown. I've seen the Iced Latte but that looks too light. I was wondering though if that is the shade one lighter than light brown as it seems they all appear darker on my fine hair.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

I use loreal hotstraight before i blow dry my hair when its dried I straighten it and brush it.

I then walk to school and my friend goes ur hair is messed up and i look in the mirror and its all curly at the ends my hair is naturally straightish but i like it dead straight!!

I Would like either some good idea's such as what shampoo/conditioner or straighterning cream or how to straightern it well or blow dry it well.

Thanks so much

Much luff xx

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

Let your hair dry on its own. Then use a ghd straightener.. (its fantastic) then use hairspray.. You might want to spray a heat protector cream on your hair before you straighten it to protect.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

http://www.aveda.com use their hair straightening cream

also use a heat protection before straightening it.

also use their damage remedy conditioner (only use it once a week) but this will help a lot.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

I have the same problem and i use frizz ease by john freda. have had no problems since!

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

Well, you could use a straighting iron but you could use shampoo. Like you can use an aveda hang hang straight stuff. Then brush it and blow dry it. Good Luck!

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

buy some styling gel and put it in your hair before you straighten it. Tony and guy have some good styling gels and so does schwarkopf (not sure how you spell it sorry)

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

If you have really curly hair (naturally), it'll be hard for the look to last all day. I suggest using a haircare line exclussively for making your hair straight...Loreal, Herbal Essences and Panteene all make these ones. You might also want to mist your hair with a finishing spray to keep your hair under control.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

Umm, well use a straight shampoo-any that says for straight hair. Then, I use herbal essences straightening spray before i blodry and while i straighten-then i straighten my hair wiht a wet-2-straight on level 30 on blow-dried hair and it works well. Then, i use a leave-in conditioner so i wont get fly-aways or humidity.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

try hairspray after you straighten it otherwise the hairspray takes effect before your hair is actually straight. and i have found that any john frieda products work wonders so try the frizz ones!!!!

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

I cannot recommend more the use of GHD hairstylers they are from my birthplace of Keighley in England and are exceptional most top stylists use and recommend them. go to www.ghdhair.com for tips and product information. I 100% RECOMMEND THESE. they are not available in the US to my knowledge, but shipping can be arranged

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

Try GHD straightners or do straightening perming they use the same chemicals but insted of curling they can straighten (some hairdressers do this but not all as it is not as popular).

When blow drying make sure you blow downwards as if blown up it will fizz or curl.

Good luck

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

I have kind of oily hair. So I wash it twice with Thermasilk shampoo (the volumizing kind, not the moisturizing kind), skip the conditioner and all products, and straighten it (I have a Conair, it's red and black and kind of curved so you can flip your hair if you want to, not sure what model it is or anything) while it's still wet. It stays straight really well. However, if you dye your hair (I don't), have dry hair (I don't), or something, I might not recommend it.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

Conditioning twice a week is the key.

Also use heat protector gel or cream.

Anti frizz would help too.

Dont blow dry too often or u'll ruin ur hair.

Also let it dry naturally till almost dry. then blow dry keeping away from hair, not too near and not on too hot.

Use natural/herbal remedies like egg for conditioning or henna if u want.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

you just have to always flat iron it. that should keep it straight.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

it depends on how curly ur hair is really, mines very curly i use a little hair serum when its wet, blow dry it then i straighten it but my hair straighteners heat to 230 tho which is not good for your hair but it makes it really straight, even if its raining tho or my hair gets slightly damp it will curl so try and avoid it getting wet, nothing will stop it curling in the rain! 200 degrees straighteners should be enough for your hair.

Or try experimenting with putting ur hair up for when you know the weathers guna be miserable ok. i use avon shampoo conditioner straight and sleek.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

boots do a straightening kit,, i used it and thought it was fantastic. i cant remember what it was called but it cost 鎷?5 and its in a pink box. it lasts for about 2-3 months and i thought it was worth every penny :)

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

i had the same problem until i got some new straightners from argos, they were 50 quid and go up to 230 degrees they kept my hair dead straight even when i went out in the wind to test them!!! i also used sunsilk straightenin cream and the loreal studioline straightenin cream both are brilliant

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

use a straightener

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

one answer:

GHD stylingh irons!

they are great i have had mine for a year and i use them everyday!

and i'll never look back!

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

If you have enough pocket money saved, get yourself some GHD straightning tongs 鎷?30 - Very expensive - but worth every penny, they straighten any type of hair without failure.

Unfortunatly the only way to keep your hair straight is not to get it wet - John frieda straigthening serum is excellent with the straightning tongs.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

straightinat

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

I have tried many straighteners and i believe ghd's are the only ones which work! Ghd also do a really good straightening serum but it is quite expensive!

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

Invest in some ghd hair straighteners, I used to have the same problem as you and then bought some ghd's from http://www.salonlines.co.uk/hair-straigh... - they really do solve the problem, now my hair stays really straight all day.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

I recommend using a salon brand shampoo that makes your hair nice and strong and soft such as TIGI Honey %26amp; Oatmeal or if your budget won't reach to that then something like Lee Stafford Poker Straight shampoo and conditioners (available in Boots) then roughly blow dry hair until it is about half dry, apply a protein spray or a heat protection spray and blow dry straight in sections using a round barrell brush. Then use GHD's to straighten the hair in small sections after you have dried it - if you use cheaper straighteners this might be where you problem is coming from. I have had the same issues in the past but since using GHD's my hair stays straight after styling - the only exception being if I get caught in the rain! After straightening apply an anti-frizz serum such as John Frieda Frizz-Eaze or Tommy Gunns serum (which is really nice and available at Boots) you can also spray a light mist of hairspray at this point to try and hold the style for longer.

How can i keep my hair REALLY straight.???

In my opinion straightening creams really dont work. I had a bunch of expensive ones and i chucked them all im the bin. Buy a decent pairof straighteners like GHDs or Babyliss Pro 230

Can you help me?? its about straightening hair...!?!?!?!?

whenever i try to strighten my hair with a straightening iron( using loreal hot straight cream too and gel or moose) it doesn't straigten all the way.... it just ends up being a little bit strightened! should i turn the heat up more or what else can i do?? thx!!

Can you help me?? its about straightening hair...!?!?!?!?

Get a CHI!! I just used one hours ago and I have the same problem you do, and my hair is straight as a board. The are a little pricey but I have never seen anything that works as good as a CHI.

Can you help me?? its about straightening hair...!?!?!?!?

get a better straightener. I suggest a ceramic CHI. works perfectly.

Can you help me?? its about straightening hair...!?!?!?!?

get a chi. they are amazing. loreal doesn't work.

Can you help me?? its about straightening hair...!?!?!?!?

You should probably just leave the iron on your hair for a longer amount of time. Count slowly to five and then move it down. Or maybe try it without all the product.

Can you help me?? its about straightening hair...!?!?!?!?

well i have the same prob, n the only solution i found it to blow dry it str8 first, then use the irons for really str8 look !!

try the heat protection from tony %26amp; guy !

Can you help me?? its about straightening hair...!?!?!?!?

The ingrediants are:smooshed banana, ssqueezed lime, sun flower seed oil and squeezed lemon then blend it and after put ti in your hair and wash with hot water.

Can you help me?? its about straightening hair...!?!?!?!?

put all of your hair in a high pony tail and leave a small layer out. Straighten that layer...run the straightner through it then a flat brush right after and repeat 6 or 7 times then do this all around your head. When you are finished with that layer, let down another layer and do the same...do this all the way to the top.

Hold a brush in one hand and the straightner in the other and alternate brush and straightner till desired smoothness...cant mess up.

Can you help me?? its about straightening hair...!?!?!?!?

try going to a hair salon,or buy a CERAMIC stragihtner. If that still diesn't work, and you really want your hair straight, get it chemicllay staightend for 6 months. It cost like 200 dollars.

Can you help me?? its about straightening hair...!?!?!?!?

yes turn the heat up. But be careful. And by all means put something on your hair, the hotter the heat the more your hair needs protection.

Can you help me?? its about straightening hair...!?!?!?!?

Does any body know if Loreal Color Pulse works?

I have light brown/dark blonde hair. I've never colored my hair and I want a TEMPORARY hairstyle. Will it work for me?

Does any body know if Loreal Color Pulse works?

Yes! It does work. ive got a lighter shade of blonde hair, and i used that for a temporary color, and it work great! Only thing is..it starts to fade about 2 days after u color it. Then it took WAYYY longer than a week to wash out, so you might not be satifised with the color you end up with. But i hope i helped you!!

Does any body know if Loreal Color Pulse works?

i did it and it worked, but never really came out. so i wouldnt do it!

Help with a good shampoo for bleach hair?

i have bleached hair and very greasy hair but my hair is damage where it is bleach quite dry and frizzy.i use loreal Elvive caring shampoo for color protect hair but it makes my hair more oily ..it doesnt do any benefit to my hair...i want a good shampoo which makes my hair silky ,soft and which makes my bleach color radiance rather then fedding away what shampoo should i used.?please i need help or is should use a different conditioner? need help please

Help with a good shampoo for bleach hair?

Stay away from the color protected shampoo. You have no color to protect being bleached out. You need a good moisturizing shampoo to put back in the moisture you stripped from bleaching. I really like Dumb Blonde by Bed Head or Ultra Hydrating by Biolage. Hope this helps!

Help with a good shampoo for bleach hair?

Blonde Glam by Redken

Help with a good shampoo for bleach hair?

A soft shampoo to use for "dyed, dried or fried" hair is from Origins, in a tub. I used it a long time ago when my hair was so fried and would hold so much water, after I went from burgundy to blonde (and it had to be stripped twice, then color corrected.) I used that along with Aussie 3 minute miracle for my ends, although since your hair is oily, I would just try the shampoo, since it cleans very gently, and does bring softness back to your hair, and then use a conditioner but only on the ends!

Help with a good shampoo for bleach hair?

dont use the color protected shampoos!!! it turns bleached hair orangy, been there and done that....

i use the Blonde shampoo %26amp; conditioner by John Frieda....it keeps my hair soft and it really brightens your hair and keeps it the color you want.

stay away from any shampoo with brass in it... they make ANTI-brass shampoos anythign that says anti brass or Blonde on it will save the color and save your damaged hair..

also....if you hate spending a lot of money on hair products.... Suave (the really cheap stuff) makes the same exact line of shampoos and conditioners as john frieda... For blondes, brunettes and red heads.... their blonde shampoo works excellent

Which hair dye is best for dark hair?

I tried Loreal True Preference (the one for dark hair only) and it didn't even work that good on my naturally dark brownish-black hair, and I'm wondering what brands will really work.

Which hair dye is best for dark hair?

I wouldn't color your own hair. Go to a professional. Believe me....been there done that. You want your hair to stay healthy and hold shine. It is worth the money to have a colorist do it for you..... :) Hope this helped....

Which hair dye is best for dark hair?

Sometimes semi permanent hair color works better because it's only depositing the color. Permanent color lifts and deposits.

Which hair dye is best for dark hair?

Try feria and try that for a couple of days. If not try going to a salon. Good luck!!

I heard gel can gives u hair loss is that true?

i use the gel loreal paris studio absent Minded liqui-gel strong hold.Does this kind of gel give you hair loss.If it does wat kind of gels dont give you hair loss at all

I heard gel can gives u hair loss is that true?

I'm 43. I've been using Clubman gel on myself for 25 years. I have as much hair now as I did when I was 18, and it looks good...

I've been using on customer's hair for since 1985, when I got my license. Some customers I've had for 20 years now. Some have hair loss. Many don't. Has nothing to do with gel or other styling products.

Many customers use this, and so do I on occasion:

Dying hair tips?

i wanna do the tips of my hair pink....and i was just looking for reccomendations for products(for bleach and the pink) i have no experience really with shopping for dyes so i was looking for some ideas! also any tips on the actual dying part, ive used that loreal mousse stuff before so ive dyed hair before.

and also, i have red hair and if anyone has any suggestions of a color they think would look cooler? (just not green xD)

Dying hair tips?

Bleach the ends first using a pastry brush...go with a gentle stroke as you're going up the shaft (sounds dirty, but it ain't)...that'll give you that fading look. Do the same with the pink dye; use manic panic, it's the most pigmented one I've worked with. Lastly, gather up the end of your hair GENTLY and wrap it in saran wrap (again..GENTLY so the dye doesn't squish) and give it a go with a hair dryer on a low setting.

Dying hair tips?

have it done by a salon.

Dying hair tips?

black tips would look really cool on red

Dying hair tips?

i would do black tips because i love black but you want tips...um wear rubber gloves, have a trusted friend or realtive do it for you, keep checking it so you wont leave it on too long

Dying hair tips?

Any nice pink you like most of them are semi permanent which means it fades in a week or so. So bleach the tips till u see the tips be blonde, then wash it and dry it , then put and leave in the pink hair dye for abt 20 min then shower. Maake sure to put conditioner especially in the tips that makes the dye stay on for a longer time. good luck. (weirdly yea im a guy but ive bleached dyed my hair all colors lol)

Dying hair tips?

pink would be cool you just have to get the right shade, if you can't find anything at a store you might as well get it done at a salon just to save effort.. also my hair's light blonde w/ some strawberry in it %26amp; i got the underneath of my head dyed black.. it looks cool when i put it up. but i think jet black would be cool with a redhead:)

Dying hair tips?

i think the best color that gose with red is a nice golden blonde.i always think that rd and golde go great together.try to find a really nice gold.and dont do your own ends have somone that you trust do them for you.i did my own ends once and th color went diangnol around the ends of my hair.lol.X)

Dying hair tips?

go to sally's to get the bleach.

they have different types.

and they have a few semi-permanent pink hair colors to choose from.

How To Dye Me Hair ((I HAVE THE PRODUCK WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS!)?

Yea so someone at the store took the instructions out. And I can't return the produck cuz i want ti and it's been like a year...soo can someone help me?

I need step by step info on how to dye my hair!

Theres info on the product.

Loreal Paris Brand

10WB whispersoft blonde-COOLER

superior preference

thank you.

How To Dye Me Hair ((I HAVE THE PRODUCK WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS!)?

go here:

http://www.lorealparisusa.com/_us/_en/de...

and if it's not clear enough, go to the store and the saleslady will explain you ;)

good luck!

How To Dye Me Hair ((I HAVE THE PRODUCK WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS!)?

just go to the store and explain that it doesn't have instructions.

I wouldn't use year old hair dye either.

How To Dye Me Hair ((I HAVE THE PRODUCK WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS!)?

I always would just put the dye in my hair and left it in there till I could see the color I wanted. Then I would rinse it out and leave the conditioner in for longer then I had the dye in. God I love that conditioner.

How To Dye Me Hair ((I HAVE THE PRODUCK WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS!)?

Most dyes expire in a year, so I wouldn't use old dye. It may be less effective or turn your hair a weird shade.

Just get another box of dye in the same or similar shade.

How To Dye Me Hair ((I HAVE THE PRODUCK WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS!)?

http://www.lorealparis.ca/en/haircolor/i...

search for the product instructions or my advice is usually there is 2 creams and you need to put one into the other ones tube shake really well and apply to your hair (don't use all of it) and leave for 5-7 mins, dry your hair and see if you like the colour, if not keep repeating until you get the colour you want.

And it's not spelt produck it's spelt product

Good luck =]

How To Dye Me Hair ((I HAVE THE PRODUCK WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS!)?

i would probably throw that dye away since it is 1 years old. I would just go back to the market and buy another product of the same color and company.

Dove or loreal vive?

which is better for dry hair that needs shine and detangling?

Dove or loreal vive?

Personally, I liked dove for about a couple of weeks, but it didn't do too much for me. The Sunsilk line though is wonderful, you should try that and it should be in the same price range - that brand has been used in asia for years before it came here, so it's not new and untested.

Dove or loreal vive?

Dove.. I think its a dark blue bottle.. its for severely dry hair..

Dove or loreal vive?

I Have Very Long Thin Frizzy Hair And I Use Dove Extra Volume And It Works Great. Very Moisturizing And It Has Made My Hair More Silky. I Would Also Reccomend Herbal Essences Hello Hydration, It Makes It Alot Easier To Brush My Hair When I Get Out Of The Shower.

Hair situation?

BEFORE YOU ANSWER THIS QUESTION..PLEASE READ FIRST WHAT I HAVE ALREADY TRIED FOR VOLUMIZING PRODUCTS:

(when i say a brand i mean.. i've tried their shampoo/conditioner, mousse, gel, and hairspray) and i have tried these all more then once before deciding they dont work.

keep in mind i have long light brown hair and its layered, and i want volume.. and shine

Garnier fructis, Pantene, loreal vive pro, sunsilk, suave, brilliant brunette, herbal essences, paul mitchell shampoo (really shitty shampoo) bed head, frizz ease.. (because of sticking up hair in the front from having a baby) um.. and almost any other volumizing kind, and nothing has worked..

i'm wondering if aussie scrunch spray would work, or L.A looks.. or that new time renewal?

also.. i have a really sensitive scalp, so i cant use anything thats too harsh. i'm allergic to DOVE.

Hair situation?

you could always get a root perm, it is a technique used to lift root off the scalp and give max volume it is less expensive than a perm and could last up to 2 mths and after a while your hair should start taking a different shape at the base of the root, but the most you style your hair to be away from the scalp the more it will start growing that way (I love the clip thing, its a brilliant idea...) and remember to always use mousse in your hair it is the product made and formulated to give hair it's full volume potential...

Hair situation?

dont use shampoo use hair lotions.. it makes it shiny and stronger ( any brand)

.. theres a special type of hair product for sensitive scalps .. its a treatment massage .. but you should go to the hair salon and do it..

Hair situation?

When your hair is wet, take one of those butterfly clips and pile your hair up on top of your head and clip it in. When it dries, your hair will be more fluffy. Conditioner, mousse and gel can sometimes weigh your hair down and make it look flatter.

Hair situation?

definatly do the clip idea it will give it tons of body and make it a little curly dont use the sprunch soray it crustifies your hair to the max! also you could try some v05 volumizing spray, and if you blow dry your hair do it with your head down, kinda upside down iguess haha good luck with your hair%26lt;33

HELP.... dying my hair back to blonde, but i have fusion extensions!?

My natural hair color is a medium blonde. I went from a platinum blonde to a dark brown about 6months ago. Yesterday i decided to go back to blonde... I used blondissima highlight bleach to strip the color... but what i ended up with was about 2ins of yellow at my roots and the rest of my hair was an orange brown.

SO i then decided to add Loreal Excellence Ultra Ash blonde to my hair and although it made it light, i STILL have the 2 tonal look going on.

I want my hair back to a nice ash blonde rather than this horrible brassy yellow/orangebrown.

ALSO i should add that i have 18" fusion extensions that i put on AFTER all the dying, but need to know also if i can go ahead and dye the fusion area.

(tried the purple shampoo...it was wonderful, removed the yellow, but the extensions are now a purplish color... HELP!!

1) how do i make my hair look ashy rather than coppery?

2) Can i dye near my fusions?

3) Will the purple shampoo color wash out when i shampoo?

Hair emergency ?

I have recently shifted to pune. The Climate here has effect both my hair and skin, they have become unbelievably dry. By using a good body loation I have restored my skin to normal but my hair閳?I m not getting any good results this department. I tried Loreal閳ユ獨 shampoo and conditioner for dry hair and still nothing. I even message my hair with hair oil and keep it overnight. Plz help

Hair emergency ?

i think dove shampoo and conditioner help my hair a lot. and using Silk after showering can also keep your hair normal

Hair emergency ?

use dove zero damage shampoo with conditioner, it will definitely prove good results!

masage ur hair wid coconut oil, keep it for 3 hrs, then wash ur hair with this shampooo! it will become normal!

Hair emergency ?

Have you tried mashing an avacado and putting it in your hair mixed with mayonaise? I know it sounds gross, but try it.

Hair emergency ?

Try Thermasilk...

or something like that.

Thats what i use and its really good.

Or just buy any kinda shampoo

for dry hair. It should work.

Hair emergency ?

Garnier Fructis conditions and repairs damaged hair. I have used and found that their products work great on my hair. I switched conditioner with Herbal Esence and wasn't happy with the results. Although I though their products smelled better than Garnier, it completely dried out my hair.

I would say Garnier because they even have a conditioning mask that makes your hair healthy and strong. =]

hope I helped!

閳?br>Hair emergency ?

KKK this may sound gross but just try not to wash your hair that often like if your not going any where for awhile or don't need to dress up don't wash it! And maybe rubbing some body lotion into your hair every other day might work. I know it gets rid of static!

Hair emergency ?

oh my gosh some of peoples advice lol. Anyways there are some really good shampoos and conditoners for this the ones I would recomend are all professional but this is what I think is the best for your situation.

Redken Smooth brown bottle buy the treatment also if I got the name a little wrong I know its the only redken product in a brown bottle. I would also recomend Joico K-pak line of products. I promise u u wouln't be disappointed

Hair emergency ?

Don't wash it every day.

Avoid hair products with alcohol in them.. it will dry your hair out really badly.

Three minute miracle by Aussie is amazing for hydrating. Anything aussie is good. I curl my hair a lot and I use their mousse with leave-in conditioner.

Herbal Essence Hello Hydration- AWESOME

Avoid pantene. their products contain wax and literally will leave wax on your hair.

If you straighten your hair with a flat iron.. try not to do it so often and if you do, use sprays to protect your hair.

Leave in conditioners while your hair is still pretty wet.

I had the same problem and my hair is in great condition

Hair emergency ?

Dont go for too many shampoos try using milk ,Massage milk in scalp leave for 20 min and rince your hair

Hair emergency ?

Please not the hair cannot absorb home remedies into the cortex due to the size of the molecule in these raw materials so the shine you have is cuticle conditioning only. I suggest redken and joico to my clients as well as some products from japan for damaged hair. If you find the hair is quite dry, I would suggest Redken all soft heavy cream, soft shot, and professional treatments from your stylist if need be. If the hair is weak try Redken extreme deep fuel as well.

My hair is falling out more tha usual!!! Please Help!?

Ever Since I've used Loreal Excellence HiColor HiLights [red] for dark hair it seems as if my hair is falling out more than usual in the shower. =[ Clots of hairs aren't coming out, but it's just more than usual. I'm still at a very young age! Should I get a checkup, or does anyone have any suggestions on what I should use for my hair? [ by the way I used SunSilk Shampoo anti-flat]

My hair is falling out more tha usual!!! Please Help!?

You could get your hair straightened. The chemical they use actually prevents your hair from falling. There's also a possibility that the shampoo you are using has some defects. Just a few months ago, there was something wrong with the shampoo I used coz it made my hair fall more than usual. Then, I changed the shampoo to a totally different brand. My hair does not fall out more than usual now.

My hair is falling out more tha usual!!! Please Help!?

YOU MAYBE SHOULD VISIT DR BUT I HAD THE SAME THING USE A MORE NATURAL SHAMPOO AND IT IS KIND ON NORMAL AS WELL MY DR SAID AND IT DOES STOP. I GET IT TWICE A YEAR NOW NO MATTER WHAT SHAMPOO I USE BUT IT GROWS BACK. NATURAL SAMPOO ARE BETTER FOR OVERALL HEALTH HAIR AND SCALP

It obviously isn't safe to continue using that product. But excessive use of hair dye will do that to you. Try using a hot oil treatment that you leave in your hair. I use this and it protects my hair from all the straightening and dyeing I do.

My hair is falling out more tha usual!!! Please Help!?

Check up AVON coz they have lot of advanced techniques for hair-styling and also moisturisers which could possibly help you best. See their new catalogue listed here and set up a date with a professional advisor or shop online at www.avon.com. it will also cost you less.

Does loreal color pulse in black work?

my hair is already DARK brown

Does loreal color pulse in black work?

Is that the temporary stuff in the orange boxes? I think I tried the deep purple one, and it worked AWESOME, but the black one didn't work at all!

I also have very dark brown hair!

Has anyone ever used Loreal Color Rays?

Im wanting to bleach my hair, like white white not just blonde and I found this hair color called White Blow Out by Loreal Color Rays, it is supposed to be able to color over any hair color. Has anyone used it before? If so what did you think of your results? Anyone suggest any other products to use, Im pretty much up for trying anything.

Has anyone ever used Loreal Color Rays?

No i've never used it. Good luck though

: )

Straighted damaged hair.?

i straighten my hair usually every 2 days and sometimes everyday. i use loreal heat protectent too. but now my hairs starting to feel damaged and dry. what can i do to my hair over the summer to make it go back to the soft hair i had.

i heard baby oil, olive oil, aussie 3 minute treatment, dove shampoo work. i have never tried these things so i was wondering if someone can tell me what can i do for my damaged hair.

also is the chi straightener better for your hair then other ceramic ones? and what are other great heat protectant products?

instead of straightening sometimes i think just scrunching it looks nice but it still gets kinda frizz. idk why.

thanks for all the help!

Straighted damaged hair.?

what you need to do right now is read :

THE 10 habits THAT DESTROY AND DAMAGE YOUR HAIR:

1) Alcoholism

2) FIA (flat Iron addiction)

3) Anorexia/Bullimia

4) Smoking Weed

5) Boxed Hair ColorKits

6) Crash Dieting

7) Shampoo with SLS in ingredients

8) Stressful daily living

9) NO exercise

10) Bleach overlapping

These are proven by my clinic

and it sounds as though # 2 is a problem for you......

you must get rid of the flat Iron.

I know that's hard to hear but it is a new problem....and one that has reached epidemic proportions.

Try this:

Put it away for one month.

Deep 'overnight' condition your hair 1 - 2 nights every week............as it explains on my blog

killerstrands.blogspot.com

in 30 days email me, and tell me what the difference is.

Straighted damaged hair.?

don't forget to cut your split ends...

Straighted damaged hair.?

I have the same problem as you do. I have to straighten my hair almost every day, otherwise my hair will go puffy and kinky. Its so anooying because my hair isnt naturally straight.

I think it is best to sometimes leave off the straightening irons and put loads of leave in conditioner through the hair to nourish the hair in hot weather. Tie the hair in a ponytail and put lots of spray throught the ends.

Im not sure whether chi are the best. I heard GHD are good although i dont own a pair, but i though that all straighteners damage the hair, so im confused. I think ceremaic are the best, so dont get thermoplastic ones or anything else.

Coconut oil condioner is said to be very god for dry/damaged hair. You might also want to try garnier fructus fortyfying shampoos/ conditioners as well as well as a deep condiioning intensive treatment mask. Most brands do one of these.

Straighted damaged hair.?

I have the same problem. I used VIVE PRO (the light pink glossy pearl one) for medium to long damaged hair shampoo %26amp; conditioner. I have to straighten my hair almost every day and I use one of the heat protectants from regis salon that i got at a hair cutting salon.

PS. I have a chi straightener and it's not that great.

Straighted damaged hair.?

Hair straightening always leads to damage if you don't give the proper care that your hair needs. I used to straighten my hair every day for 2 weeks, and immediately I noticed a change in the moisture of my hair. My hair was dry and brittle and split ends began forming. I tried a lot of different products and different straightening strategies on my hair, but only a few worked.

The best one was deep conditioning. Deep conditioning is a process in which you apply a deep hair conditioner (preferably Frizz-Zero Hair Deep Conditioning Treatment by John Freida) to your damp after you shampoo your hair. You have to massage it from the roots of your hair to the ends. Wait 10 minutes with the conditioner in your hair, then rinse it out. This works very well. Deep conditioning is a process that revitalizes your dry, damaged hair and gives it the proper nutrients to restore it. You will definitely notice the difference and not feel guilty about straightening your hair.

Also, about your hair straightener problem, I know that a Sedu Hair straightener iis very effective and leaves your hair smoothe and silky and moist. The problem is that these straighteners are usually over 200 dollars, which is why the hair damaging straighteners are usually cheaper.

Will this hair color work on me?

I've been longing to dye my hair a butterscotch cream color. It's kind of like a somewhat blonde somewhat reddish color. It also includes blonde highlights. The exact color is called 7.3 Butterscotch Cream. It's the two-in-one highlight and color system by Loreal Paris. I've been dying my hair for years and this has been a color I've always been wanting to try. I have a pale skin tone and my hair is medium brown with some reddish undertones. Eyes hair and skin are all warmer features. I'd love for my hair to wind up this color, problem is, I'm used to my haircolor results turning up like a shade or two darker than the expected color result on the box which is fine but since this color is close to blonde and my hair is darker, I don't want to wind up the lady who dyed her hair orange and looks like a buffoon. Plz don't tell me to bleach it cause I won't and professional salon services are too expensive. Just tell me if I can pull this off or not :) thanks!

Will this hair color work on me?

I need pictures

Will this hair color work on me?

try to don't use it

Will this hair color work on me?

Pictures are the only way to determine this. I mean, could I pull off pink? How would you know if I could or couldn't without seeing the structure of my face.

Will this hair color work on me?

i dont know

Will this hair color work on me?

Unfortunately the only way the lighter colour would take on hair is if you bleach it a bit.... cause if not done properly you will end up with orange hair. So without bleach or a professional salon you won't be able to pull it off!

Will this hair color work on me?

i'm a hair stylist and I can assure you that you cannot lighten previously colored hair with regular color...because color doesn't lift color, only bleach does... so here's my suggestion to you if you don't want to go to the salon but you want that color...you should get a frost and tip type kit from the store (u can do it yourself) give yourself highlights all over then after that process put the color you want (butterscotch cream) all over for about 10 mins...This really is the only way to do this yourself without having a disaster on your hands. I hope this helped!! GOOD LUCK!!

Will this hair color work on me?

well if you're used to you're used to your hair turning up a shade darker then the same will probably happen in this case . the only way is to do it proffessionally or try to find out what products the proffesionals use for it to come out perfect. goodluck!!

Will this hair color work on me?

well, i need pictures of you to make sure if it will go well with your face.

Faded hair dye?

Hey guy's, I dyed my hair about a week ago with Loreal Feria's Deep burgundy brown right after i dyed it, It was a beautiful dark red. Well i have washed it 2 times since then and it has faded to a dark brown on the bottom and a light orangey red on top. So what do you guy's suggest should i dye it a brown if so what color? I really didn't want to try red agian cause it just seems to wash out of my hair quickly. Thanks in advance

Faded hair dye?

Red will always fade quickly, it has to do with the size of thee color molecules, they are much larger, therefore they do not stay in your hair as long as any other color. Brown would cover it just fine, just remember you cant go lighter since its permanent color. Box color really isnt that good anyway. It can contain metallic dyes which are very unpredictable and not good for your hair.

Faded hair dye?

I would suggest going to a professional to get your roots touched up again with the correct color to even it out. If you do it yourself it will only get worse.

Faded hair dye?

go to the salon i mean i know the extra $50 would make it look so much better cuz i mean i dyed my hair blonde with that stuff instead it turnd my hair like a white and i had to spend like $ 200 on hair reapir stuff

Faded hair dye?

Hello, I am a cosmetologist. Did you use a permanent or semi permanent hair color? Can you tell me what your natural hair color is and if it has ever been bleached or if any other chemical processing has been done so I can give you a better answer.

Faded hair dye?

hair color washes out...I pay 70 buck.s every 6 weeks to keep a color..red, blond, brown or black...I am 50 with grey hair...******* with your hair before 30 is bad...you will never find your real hair color again!

Faded hair dye?

well I guess you should dye it again. Wash it with a color shampoo. I have blonde hair and I dyed it brown. I used Pantene Color Expressions to keep it shiney and not faded. Plus there are products out there that you can splay or rub through your hair that will help the color stay vibrant. I use the Smammy colorcare protecting Spray and it really works..

Help!!! my hair !! lol?

well long story...

i am naturally blonde..ish

i died my hair brown (im only 13 by the way)

and i hate it now i have had blonde streaks put in it by the hairdresser and i was going to get them done all over but she did a test on my hair and it broke reall easy so i have to wait for it to get strong to get them in. When enough of my roots come through i want to die it all blonde without my hair falling out!!

I am using loreal expert intense repair conditioner and schwartcopf (or whatever) repair shampoo stuff.

Anyone know about how long it will take for it to get strong enough for the streaks?? ive used it for a week so far and it is a bit stronger!

hellllllppppppp!! please =( xx

Help!!! my hair !! lol?

I am a hairdresser, and believe me when i tell you. ,, if your hair is breaking., it needs to be trimmed often till all that dead hair is gone, and then you can start bleaching it again. dont think in one week, or a month, a miricle will happen. It wont. continue to deep condition your hair, with K-pack, or paul mitchell hair repair, or redken and keep trimming it, or cut it all at once, wear it short, spikey and then you can bleach it, and you might like the short messy look. good luck

Dye over bleach?

I want to go blonde. I used Loreal Le Blondlissimes LB01 an ultra lightening color and shine system. Okay so i have red undertones, and it turned out a dark orange. (i did a test strand) When i saw the strand didnt take on my hair, i figure this leaves me to the option of getting a 40 percent proxoide, bleach it out, wait 24 hours or so, then dye it a dark blonde. Any suggestions on how to make this the safest way. And im doing this at home, not a salon.

Dye over bleach?

dont use anything with ash in it, it will turn green. i went from darkest brown to a medium blond by just coloring my hair 1 or two shades lighter every 3 weeks..... it is best to take your hair up in color by doing in in levels.... if you bleach it out, you will destroy your hair and run the high risk of possible breakage.

Dye over bleach?

Yikes... good luck. I do not see thing working out well at all... my advice is go to a salon sweetie.

Loreal Color Pulse?

If youve ever tried this, please answer. i want to try it but i dont know much about it, except its not a permanent dye, but that it washes out... am i right? How long does it stay in? Does it damage hair? Would you reccomend it? Thanks so much!

Loreal Color Pulse?

Its about 8 dollars. it works great. it stays in for up to 10 days (8 for me) but it fades after the first couple of times you wash it. i do recommend it. i used it to try out a color before i got it permanently. good luck (:

Loreal Color Pulse?

I've used this a few time and it washes out mostly within a month. After that, the rest gradually fades back to your natural color. As it washes out, you can see the color come out when you rinse it, so it may stain your towels. So far so good for me with that, but I'd recommend dedicating an old towel for that. It didn't seem to damage my hair, and I would recommend it. I have a fear of permanent dye and this stuff doesn't scare me. I really liked the color "Red Pulse", it's a bright cherry red. Also tried "Funky Cherry" but that one was a little more bland, not nearly as bright. Hope that helps!

I need a really good hair dye for my dark hair! =]?

Hey!, My hair is a dark brown and i would like to lighten it to a light brownish colour.

Any home dye packs like loreal e.t.c for my match?

Thanks =]

x

I need a really good hair dye for my dark hair! =]?

a few makes now cater for dark hair to lighten it without producing orange tones. i think live colour do 1 specifically for lightening dark hair. feria also do-there is another make too but i can't think! go to a big store like boots and u r sure to find 1. good luck!

I need a really good hair dye for my dark hair! =]?

Schwarzkopf-Live now does a range which will dye and lighten your hair at the same time make sure you choose one that says it will lighten your hair though not just one of the plain ones cos they do lots of types!

I need a really good hair dye for my dark hair! =]?

Find a color that is your hair color and go two down. That usaually works. Don't get into any red tones, it's hard to switch back and most don't like the brown-red un-natural tones. If you want to lighten it you can always try lightening with a product like "Sun in" where you spray it in and sit in light or sunlight. Then theres always highlights that brighten up hair AND look really go with dark brown. I have a brown blonde color hair. NOT dirty blonde which is a base blonde with brown, but a base brown with blonde touches. I naturally highlight it I mean it like really lightens during the summer in the sun, but have also used Sun In that is bringing it even more blonde then naturally. Brush in highlights give a nice lasting look. A frost also gives that. If you want to dye your hair, though, just go about two shades down to a similar color but lighter. You REALLY need to be careful dying your hair! If you dye your hair too many times than you REALLY REALLY are going to have fried not good hair. Pick a color and stick to it. Bouncing from color to color hurts your hair! Good Luck, hope you find the color you're looking for, and hope I helped!

I need a really good hair dye for my dark hair! =]?

Never lighten your hair at home. It's best being left to a professional. Trust me.

I have a rather strange problem in that my eyebrows are brown, my head hair is black but my pubic hair is ginger. I also have a fairly thick line of strawberry blonde hair down my back. I've tried the commercial dyes (I want all of my hair to be brown) but none seem to work. I shaved my ginger pubic hair and my back, but my eyebrows went grey and I looked like a badger. Once the hair grew back my eyebrows returned to brown but my wife left me. Now I don't know what to do. I shaved the hair on my chest and the bit running from my pubes to my belly button because my wife wanted me to look younger. Now that's growing back thicker than ever and i'm starting to look like a monkey. Please can someone help.

What do you think of ION from Sally's Beauty Supply?

I asked a question about Loreal Vive Pro, But I think I might like ION better...does anyone know how much it costs? Do you think it would work good for curly hair?

What do you think of ION from Sally's Beauty Supply?

hate their straightener, i bought it and i regreted it, i have the pink chi now, way better.

What do you think of ION from Sally's Beauty Supply?

ion is a very good brand. all the products that i have tried from them so far have been excellent, and they havent been too expensive. make sure you buy a sally's card. it saves you a ton of money in the long run.

What do you think of ION from Sally's Beauty Supply?

I think it is not that expensive.

ya, it will work good for the curly hair.

What do you think of ION from Sally's Beauty Supply?

I got a sample pack.. from sallys a Ion brand and it can be used to straighten hair.. and it worked kinda felt werid.. but then it was less curly afterwards and a lot easier to straighten and the sample packet was a couple bucks

Dying my hair brownish... advice?

I'm asian, so my hair is a very dark dark brown... (people obviously mistake as black). I want to dye my hair a lighter brown (not really light, just a rich dark brown).

I'm not going to a salon to get it proffesionally done. D= Just a home kit.

What hair company does the best job in coloring hair without destroying it... I heard loreal was pretty good.

How long does it typically take to grow out?

Does shampoo really effect how long the dye will last?

Dying my hair brownish... advice?

idk

Dying my hair brownish... advice?

I DONT MUCH MORE ABOUT THAT BUT GARNIER IS OK

Dying my hair brownish... advice?

the best dye that has stuck in my hair is the cheapest dye...its only like 3 bucks a box.. CORNSILK is the name and its loreal maybe? not sure on the brand..its NOT the poweder.

Dying my hair brownish... advice?

Revlon is good

Dying my hair brownish... advice?

dont do it by urself nd dont do it if u have a dark coloured head

Dying my hair brownish... advice?

loreal is good, revlons new brand is nice too

most people touch up around 6 weeks, but go by how much your roots grow out

make sure to use a color friendly or brunette friendly shampoo, its bad for your hair if you dont, and it moisturizes extra.

Dying my hair brownish... advice?

L'oreal Preference is excellent!!!!!!!!! It doesn't dry out your hair (unless you're doing a REALLY light colour like blonde or bronze).

Dying my hair brownish... advice?

Nothing in the stores are good. You're better off going to the salon.

Dying my hair brownish... advice?

I use L'Oreal Superior Peference and it comes with a color saving conditioner that you use weekly. It is supposed to the keep the color longer, but I am sure it differs for everyone. Usually you will have to touch up the roots within 6 weeks, but of course everyone's hair grows at different rates. And I never just touch up the roots, if I am buying a whole box of dye, I am dying it all!

Dying my hair brownish... advice?

IF U WANT SURE WHY NOT!!!!!!???????

Dying my hair brownish... advice?

Loreal is good. so is Garnier Nutrisse.

It will take about 2 months for the roots to really show.

Yes, shampoo will fade the color out some, but not too much.

btw - you should use conditioner a lot to keep it healthy!!

Help getting hair dye to stay in....?

I'm a natural blonde, but every time I try to dye my hair brown it literally fades withing 48 hours. I've tried this multiple times, with loreal, gardnier fructis, and anyother you can think of but it won't stay in! It's like God wants me to be blonde and nothing else XD

Help getting hair dye to stay in....?

Well maybe you are using the wrong dye try using a cream called igora royal i use it to go blonde and it lasts for 6 to 8 months so go to the wholesale shop for hairdressers or ask the salon to pick u one up find out what number u need though i use igora royal 12-0 thats blonde tho and its cream wont damage ur hair all u have to add to it is 40% proxide to make the color lift its nice stuff try it goodluck by the way leave it on for 45 mins cover with plastic bag to keep heat in on ur head

Help getting hair dye to stay in....?

try going to a salon. Or after you color it dont wash it for 24-48 hours, and try to leave the dye in a little longer.

Hair dying Question?

I have dark brown hair, but when I'm in the sun you can see blondish sheens (I'm guessing from when I highlighted my hair blonde years ago...) %26amp; I want to get rid of the sheen %26amp; go for an all-over dark brown colour.

1) Seeing as my hair is like a darkish brown already, if I apply more dark brown colour on, will my hair turn out practically black? The loreal recital preference dye in shade 'brasilia' is the colour I want to go for - a dark velvety brown, but I'm afraid applying it will make me look like something out of the Adams family.

2) I'm gonna dye my hair at home: which hair dyes would you recommend from personal experiance? I'm heading towards loreal recital preference, but if you guys have any better brands then let me know =)

Hair dying Question?

I dont think that it will make a massive difference, just give your hair more depth and make the blonde less noticeable.

Nice n easy is a good brand

Hair dying Question?

keep it

Hair dying Question?

wel first off i owuld never use a box color

only get stuff from a beauty supply store

second use a good color with OUT a gold base

this will make sure that it is a dark color

it will cancel out that sheen and will make it one color

if you use a box its possible more then not that it will get messed up to become a black

Hair dying Question?

it may go very dark on the darker parts of your hair, so cut a few strands from the dark part of your hair, mix up a very small amount of the dye and test it on the strands youve cut, then youll be able to see the result you will get.

I personally really like Herbal Essences dyes, they cover really well and they smell nice unlike alot of hair dyes around.

Good luck, and dont forget to do a skin test to make sure the dye dosent cause an adverse reaction on your skin

Hair dying Question?

just go to the hairdressers andhave lowlights done.

Hair dying Question?

Do not try at home

Hair dying Question?

If your worried about your hair turning out black then don't dye it at home consult the hairdressers about it they will tell you whats best.....x

How can I get rid of the red rust color in my hair from my well water.?

I use loreal evry month"light ash blonde' Now I have moved into a house with well water and my husband said the other day "Why is your hair is red" What can I do to help it without spending a bunch of money and going to the hair stylist just to get yelled at?

How can I get rid of the red rust color in my hair from my well water.?

The sad part is you need aspecial filter on your water line to take out the excess rust, which is iron oxide.

A local plumber or water products dealer could help.

How can I get rid of the red rust color in my hair from my well water.?

Ah, if U already have filter, then U must find out how2 open %26amp; rinse it out, as it's trapped all it can and is full. You may need to open the filter pack %26amp; change the filter. Report It

Can black girls use moose on their hair to put waves in it?

i want to use loreal or treseme but i wasn't sure if moose wasn't good to use on my hair type.

Can black girls use moose on their hair to put waves in it?

Yes you can my sister does all the time.

Can black girls use moose on their hair to put waves in it?

Its not really any different..

Have fun =D

Can black girls use moose on their hair to put waves in it?

I really don't think it would be very nice to do that for your hair because your hair falls out faster Than ours and yours is alot thicker/courser than ours ...I really don;t think it would be a good idea.

Can black girls use moose on their hair to put waves in it?

I think mousse is relly for holding curls, like if yu souble twist your hair at night, wake up and take the twist out, the will have a really cute wave. Apply mousse to keep the waves there. Note: mousse gets hard after awhile.

Can black girls use moose on their hair to put waves in it?

so what..? use it if u want!!

Can black girls use moose on their hair to put waves in it?

yea u can especially if ur hair curls when wet.

i do.

aussie works good.

Can black girls use moose on their hair to put waves in it?

Well that depends on how you wear your hair. Do you use a relaxer???? You can put mouse in it but your not supposed to leave that stuff in your hair because then it makes it nasty to comb. It depends on your hair type as well. As you know all black people don't have the same type of hair and some wear it differently than others.

You should try mixed chicks leave in conditioner if you want to wear your hair wavy. Here is the link http://www.mixedchicks.net/

It's pricey but it works good and better for your hair. If you go to sistasplace.biz it'll be cheaper too. They give you a code for a 10% discount after the first time using them.

How to get a platinum blonde hair?

I have very fair hair and skin but somehow i can't color hair in color i want.I was using all kinde of color(loreal,garnier,...) but still have yellow hair!

How to get a platinum blonde hair?

Go get it done at a salon. I made the mistake a couple years ago of trying to get platinum results at home and only ended up with brassy yellow/gold that totally killed my hair. I ended up having to give myself a buzz cut cause it felt like a brillo pad. There was nothing I could do to fix it. I have light brown hair, so it shouldn't have been difficult to get blond, but it was with the store products. I did use an ultra light bleaching product, not regular hair color.

How to get a platinum blonde hair?

USe a bleaching product first. Loreal and boxes similar have them in the blonde section. YOu have to bleach it before you color it. I used to do the same thing, try to dye my hair blonde and my hair was orange and yellow all the time. Then i bleached it and dyed it blonde and it was perfect first time. However now i have brunnette hair because it looks best on me.

How to get a platinum blonde hair?

If you want platinum blond hair you just bleach it!

How to get a platinum blonde hair?

bleach! just becareful because u dont want the bleach to rewin your gorgeous locks!

Can you tell me any product for shiny and frizz-free hair which i can get in India?Home remedies welcomed.?

Hi, to me, the simplest way for Shinny and Frizz-Free hairs which i am currently using too, is to use Shampoos like Head Shoulders (either regular Blue or Pink with Zinc) + Herbal Essences (for Dry Damaged Hair) regularly.

On the other side, Home remedy is that u use Yougart mixed with Egg and Hair Oil, and apply it to ur Hair Pores, and as it dries, then wash ur hairs.

I hope this will let u get Shinny and Healthy Hairs
