I wanted platinum highlights...but i guess my vision was not the same as my hairdressers..i don't want to complain..i ended with gold highlights...which i have toned again myself...with Loreal tone refiners and shimmer lites...it looks okay..just not as bright as i wanted it...do i say something or just leave it alone? I mean it looks nice plus i told her that i like it...i was curious....did i only lift so much because my hair is so dark...and does it blend after time and look more natural? Have you had highlights before and are they always blond? What should i do...nothing ...the look is dark hair gold highlights..its okay..i am not crazy about it...
Highlights for all shades of colors?
probably, the reason that your highlights didn't work, is because you have too much color on your hair....quit coloring it yourself,,,Because most of the time, clients tell us that they don't color their hair and we can always tell, plus, when you color your hair, it interferes with giving you the color and result that you like.
It is too hard on the hair to cut through too Meany layers of home hair color, and the client is never happy and always blames the hairdresser for not giving the result that they want....Hope this helps.
Your hairdresser probably got your hair as light as it can go without damaging your hair too much, which is the best we can do with the hair that we have to work with.
