Does Hair Dye ever expire?

I bought Loreal Color Pulse Color Mousse that washes out in ten shampoos about a year ago (possibly longer) and just found it in my closet..

I wanted to use it but wasnt sure if it could expire and do harm to my hair/turn out the wrong color. It doesnt have an expiration date on it or anything but I want to be sure.

Does anyone know?

yes yes it does. call the company and give them the sku number on the box and they will tell you how long until it is no good. i just called loreal recently about the same thing and my box of dye had 1 yr left.

Yes never chance it! Just like any hair products, they can collect build-up. The coloring compounds break down over time. I would throw it away and get some new.

depends do they show the expire date some got some dont really have but u cant keep it that long though lol so maybe its better to get a new one

However, They do not stay much stronger with the time.
