I got a section of my hair bleached 2 nights ago and it wasn't working so we bleached it about 3 times and on the third time when we were rinsing it my hair actually started breaking off, and yesterday i actually got most of the damaged hair cut but i still have some I wanted to dye the bleached section of my hair red and i was just going to used loreal color pulse temorary hair color i was wondering if it would be okay or would it make my hair worse i was told not to use a curling iron or anything for a few weeks

if your hair is that damaged you probably shouldn't put anything on it for a while. even if you did, the red will probably stay in there for maybe a week and fade out because your hair is so porous, and red is the hardest color to keep from fading, even in healthy hair. i would just wait and keep getting deep conditioning treatments for a couple weeks so it's not a waste of your time and money. if you wanted to try the bed head dumbe blonde shampoo and conditioner for a week or two and then use it once a week, and the protein in it will help repair it

it wil make you hair a bit worse since its just a temporary hair dye... any hair dye WILL damage and its probally not a good idea to use irons or curls on the damaged hair cause it will break off even more

Oh my gosh! you know what? My hair is naturally dark like really dark and i bleached it and i kept bleaching it and bleaching it and it started breaking off. It's really unhealthy for your hair. So I think you should wait a while... your hair is going to feel really coarse and dry =\ it sucks. so just be patient :)

Your hair is badly damage, and you should go out and buy a Perm repair and treat you hair for about 2 to 4 week, before you put any thing else in you hair, if you should put more dye on the bleached part of you hair you just might come up ball.

use a deep moisturizing conditioner for at least a week till you try to re-dye it. Go to a beauty supply store for a better product than is readily available at a drug store. they are also knowledgeable and could give the best advise. I would be afraid that if you tried any processing now you would end up with straw-like hair which is not very attractive.

Do not dye your hair until 4-6 weeks. I know you really want to get your hair color right, but your hair is very damaged right now. Your hair will literally start falling off because of all the harsh chemicals from the hair dyes. Just wait, and then go to salon to get it professionally done. If you can't afford that, find a beauty school in your city and they will do your hair for alot cheaper.
