ive got brown hair and would like some light brown or caramel highlights in my hair..

L'Oreal has a website - check it out for ideas. I don't know about colour pulse mousse, but there are several products out there eg. garnier multi lights kit. You could also combine highlights and lowlights.

Good luck!!

yeah so would i but pulse wont really do the job that well i think like herbal essence has some kind of highlighting package with different colors that will work. you could find it at like walmart or jewel.

I've used the mousse, and it's more for all-over colour. There are a few L'Oreal products out that are for highlighting, but I think with the colour mousse it'll be difficult to get it to stay in one area.

i have also used the mousse and i love it because its temporary but it also gives you great color in my opinion. however i agree that it is really just overall color not much for hightlights

no you need to lift some of that brown color out of your hair to lighten. you can get a hair cap, pull chunks of hair through, bleach, then user a toner to get rid of any brassiness or orange. thats what they do in the salons. Oh and for brown hair get a toner that is silver, violet, blue or purple based. stay away from orange, gold, or yellow based toners. Just go to a local beauty supply store, and they can help you out.
