Hair dying HELP??

I'm dying my hair TONIGHT!

Should I know anything before I do this?

My mom's helping me, and I'm using the Loreal Couleur Experte 5.0??

IS this a good brand?

I have very short choppy layered dark brown hair.

Will it look the same as the box? Almost the same?

Anything that I should be aware or afraid of ?

Dying your hair is fun. I do mine all the time. Nothing to be afraid of except it does damage the hair but that is what all the products out there are for.

depending on what colour you are dying it will depend on the results.

my friend used that dye one time and her hair turned out great.

just make sure you rinse it all out!

I know this isn't answering your question but if I were you I would get it done at a salon as to make sure everything goes right. I'd rather have experts work at my hair. I might dye my hair soon and I wouldn't even consider having that done at home. It has to be done right.

Loreal do very good hair dyes, my mum uses them and her colour looks very natural.

The colour might not be the same as the box, look at the guide on the side of the box which shows what colour your hair will go according to your natural colour.

be sure to condition your tips a lot before this because ends absorb more dye than the rest of your hair, especially if they're dry. other than that, just be sure to keep the dye on for the right amount of time and you should be good(:

Loreal is a good brand but make sure you use neutralizing shampoo to get all the chemicals out of your hair. Conditioning is also very important.

the color doesn't always turn out the way you want it to. if you want lighter brown use dark blond. and yes it is a good brand.

You didn't say what color you are dying it? I too, have short choppy brown hair and I occasionally dye it to cover the grey and get a shade that is close to my own; which works out. Be careful if you are going lighter or any color with amber in it - you may end up with a reddish tint your hair. Good luck and have fun...remember; it's only hair and the color will not last forever.

I have dyed my hair many time, it never looks the same if your hair is dark. but it is usually ok. Make sure you do your eyebrows too, with and old toothbrush. if there is not a HUGE difference don't worry too much about

Dont trust it until you know from some one SKILLED that it is a VERY good product ask the owners or employes of the store if that bottle of stuff is a good brand...maybe it is...maybe it isnt...ask some one thast is the best thing to do nobody likes to be tricked so even if they say yea yea its good you should still make sure of it i meen one time i did that with a loreal brand and it was cheap so like YEA dont trust it
