Loreal color rays red help!!?

i used to have really dark black hair but then i dyed it with loreal paris feria ruby red but then the color only shows under the sunlight and its my regular black color hair in the building. if i dye my hair again with loreal color rays red, is the red gonna be really light?

I've used the same product and you don't need bleach for this specific product because it's meant for dark hair. I used the purple colour rays and it died red which kinda sucked. but don't use bleach because I remember it saying not to use it. when you use this product, if it's too red then you can always dye it back black if you don't like it. also if you die it black before you put the highlights, it will looks better with the highlights. ;)

and once last tip. the dye (from color rays) is really hard to put on your hair and I've heard that it can dye your entire head the same colour if you don't do it right so make sure you get someone to do it for you and make sure they use the tip of the wand. hope that helps. also it would help if you read the instructions on the box because it explains it really well. :) good luck.

Color can not lift previously colored hair any lighter than it already is, you might be able to brighten up the red but it wont get you to a lighter red.

you know this is because u didn't bleach your hair first~

loreal company divide the nature hair color to 12 levels. any of the dye from dark to light cross more than 2 levels will need to be bleached otherwise the color wont show

because your very dark hair color haven't yet been bleached so of course the color only show up under the sunlight.

try to do it again after bleach and good luck

well soory to say but you forgot to bleach. I wanted to dye my hair and i did the same i didnt do the bleach thing and i jsut put on some manic panic dye it SUCKED . it blended in .Basically what you said. I suggest umm obviously bleaching it and get some manic panic dye not that loreal thing cause idk personal opinion but i think straight dyes are better than some fragrance / dye thing. plus wider variety of reds =D like VAmpire!!!! grr
