Ok, so my mate is dying my hair this evening- Loreal Coconut Ice- %26amp; depending on how red or brown it turns out, I'm thinking of having Auburn/ Brown lowlights put in for when I start 6th form next week... Another one of my friends has offered to use the Garnier home high-lighting kit. She's worked in hairdressers %26amp; has dyed my hair before but is it better for me to pay for a proffesional job?

i have a freind that got her hair permed by her sister in law and she also worked in hairdressing and she messed her hair up...BAD and now three years later some of the damage is still there and the hair is recovering.
